This pad makes me so happy to have for my golden now that she’s getting older, I worry about her hips getting sore and this pad is just as good as a human pad! It also helps keep the dogs warm by adding another barrier from the ground! We love it!

It’s a semi-firm egg crate type design that’s not particularly comfortable. My dog is willing to try new things and isn’t afraid to walk onto strange surfaces but she didn’t care for this much. I had her lie down on it and she fit in a standard down position but she’d hang off of it if she tried to stretch out. But it does serve its purpose for us and that’s to be a barrier between her and moist/wet dirt when we’re outdoors. I do like that it folds up into a rigid rectangle that I can secure to the outside of a backpack and it’ll shed water more readily than the blankets I’ve taken out with us in the past. It is very light weight and seems pretty durable. Being so light and designed like egg crate, I thought it would be more easily torn but it withstood a pretty good attempt to tear off a corner. No doubt the dog could very easily chew it to shreds but she won’t be left unattended with it anyway so that doesn’t matter to me.
So bottom line is pay attention to the dimensions so you know if it fits your dog and know that it’s very lightweight and not very thick but will function as a pad to protect from cold/wet ground.

Love this sleeping pad!
I actually didn’t use it for dogs – I teach wilderness first aid and this pad was perfect for my “injury volunteer” to keep her comfortable on the ground while waiting for my students to assess, treat, and rescue her out of the woods. Also the students found it a really nice backing for short-moves of our “patients” because they didn’t get to use a normal backboard. Five stars for everything it put up with, and it still looks great!

I went to an outdoor workshop. It was gravel all around us. I brought this with me. My dog loved it for both comfort and heat. I recommend having your dog get on and off the mat several times before putting it to real use. It could take your dog a second to get used to it. Once they realize the comfort and coolness, they will get on board. If they don’t use it right away, keep offering it at events/in the car/etc. Size is small, but do-able, quality is 8/10 with it being foam, love how it folds up, padding is great. I used it to sit on during a concert when my dog wanted to stand, great for value for money

This is perfect for keeping your dog dry and comfortable during a camping trip. My dog has short fur and does not like hard, wet or cold surfaces. This pad solves all these problems. Also, it’s super light weight, and small, so it’s easy to carry around. I would highly recommend this product if you are planning for a camping trip.
